Our Story

In 1992 after opening Sierra West Warehouse, the company was in need of more space so they began building a 50,000 square foot warehouse on the same property. The warehouse focused on storing agriculture products, straws for a popular packaged drink, grain, tomato paste, paper rolls and machinery.
Last year, Sierra West Warehouse broke ground on an additional 50,000 square foot warehouse which should be completed in the spring of 2014.

Dale Mendoza
President
Dale opened Sierra West Warehouse in 1989 to accommodate his growing trucking company, Quali-T-Ruck Service Inc. With the help of his son, John and a dedicated staff they have been able to expand Sierra West Warehouse into a logistics and warehousing leader in Fresno. He serves as the President of Central Valley Crime Stoppers and takes pride in giving back to his community.

John Mendoza
General Manager
John was raised in the logistics industry. At a young age, John began working closely with his father, Dale at the family business. After graduating high school, he served in the Marine Corps and when he returned home he began working full-time for Quali-T-Ruck Service Inc. In 1989, they opened Sierra West Warehouse across the street from Quali-T-Ruck Service’s terminal. John now serves as the General Manager of both Quali-T-Ruck Service and Sierra West Warehouse. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife and sons.
